So I've finally seen my most awaited movie of the year, and --

Spock!!!! He is even more loveable than I remember. And there are two of him now, for double the fun. AND double the slash. Because, you know, the Kirk/Spock UST* didn't disappoint.



This is the most perfect, goosebump-inducing quote, ever:

Kirk: Who the hell are you?
Spock': I have been, and always shall be, your friend.

I thought I'd faint. I get the feeling, too, that the "friend" part was tacked on for the benefit of the anti-slashers. But we all know what Spock really meant, right?

Remember, in The Wrath of Khan, it was this:

Spock: You are my superior officer. You are also my friend. I have been, and always shall be yours.

Is that something you tell your commanding officer, who's also your friend? That you'll always be his?? Ha! I don't think so.


Anyway, on another note, on that scene where Spock kisses Uhura, two girls in front of us were whispering, "Selos si Kirk..."

I was thinking the same thing, so I said to myself, Nagkalat na ang slashers. Hehe. ♥

But then I realized they were referring to Kirk being jealous because he's attracted to Uhura. LOL. Silly girls.
