2008 was a kind of milestone year for me in that I was able to do a lot of things for the first time. A few of of these things I've even wanted to do for years, but just never found the opportunity/time/resources to do so.

Here's the top ten (in no particular order):

- Went to a planetarium (in another country, at that!).
- Used a squat toilet.
- Had my passport stamped (from an entire lifetime without a stamp to twice in one year, would you believe?!).
- Invested in stocks and mutual funds.
- Traveled to a foreign place alone (brave, di ba? non-english-speaking country yan ha? and i can barely speak their language!).
- Joined a marathon.
- Created an account at a social networking site.
- Watched jrock groups perform live.
- Caused someone to stop and gawk at my timeless beauty (ROTFLMAO, feeling geisha ba?).
- Splurged on personal training sessions.

It's a holiday and I'm here at work, diligently not working. I went to the office to finish up the training module for the new hires coming in next week, but I'm still too much in vacation mode to concentrate on it. Gah. Blog-blog na lang muna. Good luck na lang sa akin next week.
